<p>I recently got picked by a few of my teachers and guidance counselors to represent my school at the Hugh O'Brian Youth Leadership Conference for my school. I was wondering how this looks on apps and if any of you have had experiences at this seminar and if they were beneficial or not. Thanks!</p>
<p>I’m not too sure how it’ll look on apps. It’s a pretty short program, so I don’t think it’s a huge achievement or anything. But it does say that your teachers like you when you’re a Sophomore.</p>
<p>However, the program itself is AMAZING. You get really close with the other people. Some people at the one I went to cried (not uncommon), the HOBY Momma (basically director) lost her voice by the end of it (we shouted A LOT), and everyone kept in contact after the event. Unless it’s interfering with something huge, you should definitely go. </p>
<p>By the way, if you’re comfortable with saying, which state’s HOBY are you going to? And looking forward to see you in the Alumni facebook group, if you have a facebook.</p>
