Hollingsworth and Lay Regular Decision

<p>Any news yet?</p>

<p>I called a week or two ago to ask when they would be letting people know if they're up for interviewing for either of these, and I believe (but am not sure) that the lady I spoke with said they'd start doing this around/starting the 25th.</p>

<p>Will this be done by e-mail or regular mail?</p>

<p>letter in mail today - Accepted along with finalist for Lay, Duke, and Hollingsworth! Scholar Day March 30, 2009 final notification with aid package will be sent on April 6, 2009</p>

<p>FYI I'm in-state, and the postmark date on the envelope is February 25th.</p>

<p>Received email with more details on Scholarship Day - 87 students competing on March 30, 2009 for Three Lay Scholarships, Seven Duke Scholarships, Eighteen Hollingsworth Scholarships, and Seven Townes Scholarships.</p>

<p>Keep in mind that this is for regular decision. We know of some ED candidates that already received some of the above scholarships.</p>

<p>Can you guys that are finalists for these scholarships post stats?</p>

<p>Scholarship finalist @ Furman - 1/500 @ competitive public HS, 1580/2330, NMF, Presidential Scholar candidate, leadership, ecs, AP scholar with distinction 10 APS - 5 tested, so far all 5s</p>

<p>Good luck to all. We were on campus Sunday visiting our son. A bit windy and cool, but otherwise a gorgeous day and beautiful campus.</p>

<p>Congratulations to all the scholarship winners! Winners were personally presented awards at their schools yesterday, very nice! Letters of those that did not get award were sent out in mail yesterday.</p>
