education: priceless

Mastercard (R)

i hate subsidies, but that's mostly when it has to do with corn.

hmm, fees at my school:
$83 per AP test
$70 yearbook
$some amount of money close to 60 for prom
$5 if you want a planner - you can use your own
$3 if you break something in the lab
$180 each season of athletics
$15 each science team competition
probably pay stuff for graduation too

for me, that will probably add up to around $1140. wow, pretty hefty.

wow thats crazy
all those fees?

at my school you don't have to pay for sports (but you have to buy your own equipment and stuff, and you have to pay if you want to get a team sweatshirt)
and no lab fees, and they give you books (all though you, of course, can't write in them and they are usually older editions of notsogood quality)

I'm a Junior, but I think Seniors have some sort of Cap/Gown fee.
For Juniors there is Junior Ball tickets, for Seniors, Prom tickets, Homecoming tickes for both (these are all optional, though)
Then the dresses, limos, and all that crap
The only other thing is basically AP Tests. I'm taking 6 Junior year and 5 Senior year.

so really what I need to pay for Junior year is $83x6, +Homecoming and Junior Ball tickets (~$40 each, but Junior Ball might be more this year cuz we're trying to get a live band), + Dance Dresses + Regular school supplies

damn i have traditional public school education. its free. im paying for my cap and gown and that crap, but it shouldn't be more than 100 dollars. and im getting a senior sweater and a senior shirt. 08 nuckaaa.

Ummmm....$0.00? Except for yearbook, but you can't have everything, can you?

$211....but $127 is from last year and $50 of that is from a lost book

My entire school career has probably only cost me 150 bucks not including AP tests.

lol @ people in the thousands for high school
