Homecoming court on an application?

Under awards would Homecoming court be something that could be looked well upon? My other awards that i list are all academic except for a sport award. I think it would look good that you can get good grades and test scores and be well liked, would it? But im not sure, whats your guy's opinions?

Hmm that’s a good question. I guess I’d put it, but only if nothing else trumps it. I’d rather put something there than leave it blank, for example. But if you have awesome other awards it would replace, I’d keep the other awards instead, because I’m not sure how much Homecoming Court would be able to show the admit people about you (it’s a great honor though, don’t get me wrong!).

I would leave it off. Do colleges really care if you were popular in high school? Do not be afraid of blank lines on the honors section. A few good honors are much better than dredging the bottom of the barrel.

I have other academic awards. I was just wondering because im sure colleges see tons of applicants with similar gpas and test scores but i wanna show that im not the type of person who just sits at home and studies all day.

Then list some ECs that show that.
