<p>It's not extremely prestigious, since it's only a comparison inside your school... on one that's probably based mostly on popularity at that. It would at least tell the admissions people that you are relatively well-liked at your school though. Other than that, I can't think of any benefits.</p>
<p>I'm a teacher at a high school. As teachers, we have to approve our homecoming court nominees. At our school it's more than a popularity contest...it also says something about their character. I'd say it doesn't hurt to include it.</p>
<p>At my school being elected to homecoming court is entirely decided by the students' teachers. I was shocked to be on it. Guess I'll include it.</p>
<p>yeah if its based on your teachers votes then i would include it. but mention that it was the teachers votes and not the students votes.</p>
