I was recently voted Homecoming King by my senior class and was wondering whether I should put it on college applications.

Some info about me:
4.0 GPA, always took hardest classes available
2240 SAT
12 College Credit Classes (9 AP, 3 Dual Enrollment)

I am mostly applying to ivy-caliber universities as well as 2 in-state schools. I don't want to seem arrogant in applications; the one reason I am considering including it is that all of my credentials weigh heavily to the academic side. This would at least show that I am respected by classmates and bring out a side of my personality that does not appear as strongly elsewhere.

The only question I have now is: where should put it? The common app only asks for academic honors and this certainly isn’t an extracurricular. Should I put it under Additional Information? This means I’d have to upload a document for something that takes a sentence to explain. Also note, this is my LEAST valued award and I want to make sure the admission officers understand that.

I dont think you need to worry that showing you have the respect/affection of your classmates could be offensive. On the contrary, with such an academic resume, I think it is an opportunity to show you are not one dimensional.
