I won Homecoming Princess Sophomore year, and I want to include it in my common app. BUT WAIT! I don’t want to brag about it but rather denounce it in a way. Kind of like, “I was standing there in front of everyone with my crown and realized I was not in control of my reality/I didn’t want to be the center of attention.” Like, the experience helped me realize what I wanted in life. How the event impacted me to pursue something elsewhere. Any advice? Is this a good idea?
