Homework music

I listen to “Techno” as a station on pandora whenever I’m doing intense work.

smooth jazz music

Ha, I love Pandora as well. Last.FM is also good.

For homework I also don’t prefer lyrics. So typically I listen to some good electronic/electronica like Modeselektor.

Nothing :O

JAZZ. new york voices. :D

Definitely ambient music. Or perhaps post-rock.

classical music / nothing most of the time… it also depends on the situation. i also try to listen to music that matches what i’m doing.

Regina Spektor.
Then again I always listen to her, hehe :D

I just listen to not-too-distracting and quiet things

I usually listen to piano music. Sometimes I just play the main playlist on my iTunes. If I’m working on a paper, I usually play music for about three quarters of the time I am writing. After that, I usually just work in silence until the paper is done. Music helps me concentrate on math / science. I can’t listen to it if I’m trying to work on most other subjects though.

I love classical music, and it’s the only type of music I can listen to while doing homework – otherwise, the lyrics distract me and I start doodling and sketching out music video scenes…

Múm - Summer Make Good (album)
very relaxing music, with few, subtle lyrics and soothing sounds. works very well for long projects, essays, etc.

NPR

(10 million char)

Anything that comes up on my iTunes shuffle/Genius playlists. Can range from happyxhardcore to Taylor Swift, lol.
