So, I'm wondering what colleges are the most open to the gay community. I realize New York University is very open, and that is one of the schools I'm looking at. Does anyone know any other pretty good schools that are also very open to homosexuals? I'm sure there are always going to be people against gays & lesbians, but some more open than others.

Easy - Lesbians are encouraged everywhere by men, but when a gay man walks in it's a different story sometimes. But let's not get into this, lol.

LMU: I'll be attending NYU Stern in the fall. I'll be glad to be a straight guy at a school with a relatively high percentage of gays. When supply of straight guys is low, girls are willing to pay a higher price... something like that.

NYU definetly. and to repeat what easy said any straight attractive guy there is set for 4 years because there are not many of them.

i would think many schools in big city would at least be accepting of homosexuality if not embracing it. and if they dont have the gay community you were looking for you would have all the options that city has to offer

My school, Wesleyan. Also try Oberlin. I've heard good things about Yale and Brown (though I'm sure they arn't the only Ivies that are open to the queer community). In general, schools with a liberal repuation tend to be very open.
