Honestly

Gather 'round. Time for a story to hearten our souls and harden our resolve. Please, do tell!

Amazing. Love it.

↓ Ah, that is a good story. ↓

Lol alright. It actually made me feel better, and a lot less hopeless, about wanting to fight poverty overseas and such.

So, it goes: A man is walking along the beach. There had been a terrible storm the night before, and as far as one can see, jellyfish have been washed onto the shore. Hundreds upon hundreds of jellyfish stretch in all directions. The man continues to walk until he sees a little girl. The little girl is scooping up the jellyfish, one at a time, and tossing them gently back into the ocean. The man stops to watch her, standing there for about ten minutes as she continues to pick up the jellyfish and toss them in the ocean.

“Why are you bothering?” He finally asks, “Look at all these jellyfish, there are thousands. You would never be able to save them all. You can’t make a difference, so why bother doing it at all?”

“No,” the girl replies, “I can’t save them all. But,” and here, she scoops up a jellyfish and places it in the ocean, “I just made a difference to that one.”

[reposting, somehow deleted it lol]

Very inspirational.

One of the reasons I’m into the whole college thing is because I think I’d have a better time there. My life is not only tedious but frustrating at the moment.
Yes I could transfer to a public school, start becoming one of those kids who bunk school to go smoke under the trees at the park and beg my parents for money to receive plastic surgery. Then with my new plastic look seduce a rich man. But then my real dreams of the ideal life would be shattered.

^ I agree about the college thing.
