Honey, I'm still free! Take a chance on me!

Yay Mama Mia!

Anyone care to chance me? I'm going into my junior year next year, so I don't have very many tests...

-Voice (3 years), sing with school's Chamber Singers, also in a selective male quartet with our school, sing with church choir, made it into 9th/10th grade Honors choir this year (the equivalent of underclassmen all-state)
-Theater (Musical and Drama), 4 years-but with 7 years of dance experience (can't do it anymore because theater conflicts), danced in a professional show and received payment, 5 shows/year at my high school
-Running (3 years)-I can't run with cross-country (it's during theater...), but I run on my own and have run several 5/10k's and have run the Twins Cities Marathon (and am currently in training to run the next one this fall)

How am I looking? Any advice?

you've posted this way to early. princeton doesn't even look at freshman grades so they don't matter. so basically all you have is sophomore grades and no important test scores. wait until after junior year is complete.

come back in a year, once you have scores and decent ECs. You had better be an amazing violin player if those are what you are applying with. You are not involved in your school whatsoever as I see.

...theater...voice...

Violin's the only thing I don't do through school.

I think you are looking very good. Yes, it is early, but you already have an 800 on the US history Subject II and obtained a 5 on the AP, not to mention your stellar grades and good EC's (Princeton will like your participation in the Arts). Of course you could do really poorly in your junior year, but as long as you keep concentrating on your goals, my bet is with you. Start reviewing for the SAT's this summer too to get a head start on this.

Thank you so much for the helpful reply, CMA1. I don't think I made my intentions with my post very clear to the others; I don't really want chances (I realize I called the thread that, a mistake), but rather advice about how to proceed, given that I have a little time left.

Thanks again!
