<p>Please, does anyone have any information on honor thesis? does it increase chances for HLS? Is it that important? I have written an independent research paper and will probably get published in a peer review journal. My GPA is 4.0 (from top five)and received grants and few scholorships from my school. I am a Junior. I havent taken the LSAT yet. But have been scoring high on the practice. I like to know if it would help me greatly (for admission)to write one? I do not have the desire to write and with the time left I want to take more interesting classes at my school instead (including many writing classes). But something in the back of my mind tells me that I should write one to be a more competetive candidate. Does most of those accepted have one? Please, someone help this poor soul. Thanks!!!</p>

<p>Agree with flowerhead. Only people who don’t have high LSAT and GPA try to falsely convince themselves that anything but LSAT and GPA contribute any meaningful during admissions. Those tend the be the same people who end up not getting into a top law school.</p>
