Honors category in application

<p>What falls into the category of academic distinctions and honors besides national merit?
In other words, do things like Siemens Westinghouse/Intel fall under this or do they fall under extracurricular achievements.</p>

<p>Seimens/Intel/USAMO stuff falls under awards. Extracurricluars are activities you do consistently.</p>

<p>I think they can go under either one.</p>

<p>I’d say put the Siemens awards under the Honors/Awards category and put something like “Science Research” under the EC section. That’s what I plan on doing.</p>
