Honors Chemistry vs AP Psychology

Hi everyone!
So for Junior year, I'm deciding whether to take AP Psychology or Honors Chemistry. The reason I'm deciding this is because I want at least two "break" classes since I'll be taking AP English III, AP US History, Honors Algebra II, and I want to either add Honors Chemistry or AP Psychology to. I know that Psychology AP has the "AP" title to it and therefore might make my course load seem more rigorous and I also really enjoy Psychology! But, Honors Chemistry isn't an elective and it'd be the only honors science class I'd be taking in high school other than Honors Physics (also, I don't really "love" science, specifically chemistry, I'm just good at it).

Also, I really want to major in Business at UC Berkeley, so in their eyes, which one would seem better?

(BTW, if I'm not going to take AP Psychology I'd be taking Wood II or just normal Psychology which are both super jokes of classes, and if I'm not going to take Honors Chemistry, I'd be taking CP Chemistry) Also, there's a small chance that I'll be taking both classes (like ten percent chance), but are three AP's, which both require a cra p ton of writing and reading and two honors classes revolving around math manageable?

Note, this year I'm only taking CP classes and maintaining and EASY 4.0, so It'd be a huge jump from only CP's to three AP's and two Honors.

IDK what to do, does anybody know which course would be better for entrance to Berkeley?

THANKS!

Is Honors chemistry weighted at your school?

Yes, so is Psychology. Basically, all AP classes are weighted and so are all honors except for Algebra II Honors.

You know, I would just take Chem Honors and self-study for the AP Psych test. It’s the easiest AP test and you can easily pass, and by passing you get college credit. Of course, if you want a 5, you may have to study a bit more. But it’s not bad at all. My friend self-studied and got a 5 painlessly. But this is just my opinion.

Neither one is bad, if you don’t already have a science class take chem, if you do take whichever one you think you will enjoy more.

I’d recommend taking honors chem - colleges typically want to see you’ve taken two or more science classes. Chem isn’t too bad; the concepts are pretty straightforward and not much math is involved.

Do you know if a year long Honors Chemistry course outweighs a semester of AP Psychology in the eyes of Berkeley?

Also, is AP Psychology easy enough to take while taking the two AP’s I mentioned, Honors Algebra II and Honors Chemistry? Because if I’m not going to take AP Psychology, I’ma just take CP Psychology.

Yes. Taking just one semester of AP Psych is very bad. And I do recommend you just take regular Psych and self-study for the AP test, like I said. It’s not that hard.

AP Psych is easy, I know plenty of people who have self-studied for the test and gotten a 5, I am taking the exam in May… On a side note honors Chem is doable.

Do you guys know how much harder AP Psychology is than CP Psychology? Because if it’s not that much harder, I wouldn’t mind taking both!

just do AP Chem. that class is easy too.

I can’t do AP Chemistry, at my school, that class is nearly impossible, let alone taking that class with two or three other AP’s. Do you guys know how much harder AP Psych is than CP Psych? Because if I’m going to be taking CP Psych, might as well be taking AP right?
