I've always heard there are some people who excel in Biology and don't do well in Chemistry, and those who excel in Chemistry and don't do well in Biology.

Do what you think YOU can handle, not what other people here think, since they don't really know the course. Talk to people at your school in the grades above you, since depending on the school and teacher, the class can be very different. You don't want to be stressed out all the time because of too much work, but you also don't want your school year to be a breeze.

heck i took chem hons and it was horrible. -.-" i guess it really depends if you can handle it and apparently I couldn't. It's a weighted class so I guess take it for the risk.

I never studied for honors chem last year and i copied off of someone else for hw. He gave numerous tests and I ended up getting a 100 average every mp (110 with the ten percent curve my school gives for honor's classes0 and a 110 for midterms and finals.

Depends on your teacher/school. My Honors Chem teacher was a Columbia graduate with a doctorate from UC Berkeley, and that class was pretty hard. I had a 91.3 final average and I'm pretty sure I was the highest grade in my class of 16 people. Then again, everyone else in this topic seems to think it was extremely easy, so it really varies.
