@berrig10 - We were told you can apply for Honors at the beginning of each semester (I think); not sure whether you could still try to get in now or have to wait until the first semester is over? There is an Honors department you can call, they should know.

Due to orientation registration coming out, and still not having a decision on Honors, I called the orientation number (as noted in the instructions). They transferred me to the Honors Dept where the person told me a decision has been made for my son but she could not see the decision. She indicated he should receive his email (via personal email) on Tuesday or Wednesday of this week.
My son was accepted in December and he still has not heard anything about Honors. He is planning to call the orientation number today, too. I am assuming at this point, he is on the bubble for Honors. Reading through last years’ admitted thread, I saw many of the students denied Honors were offered Scholars instead. Has anyone heard about this happening for students in the Class of 2022? Was this only to fill the Scholars programs that had low interest?
My son applied to Scholars very early by Nov 1 and has not heard yet either. Called Scholars Office, they were not very helpful. First said a decision was emailed to him in Nov (which made zero sense) then when I called back she said a decision has not been made. We want to book Orientation as we will be flying out…sigh
My son was accepted in January and finally tonight at 11:06 PM just received his acceptance email to the Honors program. Hopefully this is good news for everyone still anxiously waiting. Good luck to all!
D also accepted in January for pre-Nursing and tonight received her acceptance to Honors notification.
Son also received acceptance email around 11pm last night (3/27).
My son received notification last night that he was accepted into the Honors Program.
