<p>So I got invited to apply for the honors program. I was wondering what other people who applied did for the recommendation part? First off, how many do you need? Do they care from which teachers? Also many like that to be sent separately, would VT seeing as it's kind of typed?</p>
<p>Also there's no word limit that I see for the essays, in general how long did you guys make yours?</p>
<p>I don’t think that they care about which teachers, but they probably would like to have the recommendation from a teacher who has known you for a long time. If there’s a teacher that you’ve really gotten to know over the years who you still see, I think it would be a good idea to go to that teacher.</p>
<p>The VT Honors program website says to “mail the whole [application] to us.” </p>
<p>I didn’t do the essays because I’m not interested in the honors housing, so I can’t really answer that (sorry!)</p>
