Honors College Decisions?

I just found out that I’ve been accepted into Stony Brook, but the acceptance makes no mention of the Honors College, to which I’ve applied. Does that mean I’ve been rejected from honors, or do they release a decision sometime in the future? If the latter, does anyone have any idea when?
Thanks in advance!

same here. the honors college site says they notify by April 1st but you’d think they would tell you together with the admissions decision, right?
yeah. I don’t know.

@penguintables‌ I would expect that, but I don’t think they could make an Honors decision before all the applications are reviewed. Regardless, congrats on your acceptance!

Typically early March on honors and scholarship decisions; we wait until the pool is complete before making that review. Hang in there!

When do we hear about the Scholars of Medicine Program? Is that decision released at the same time as Honors College and scholarship decisions?

Yep. That’s sort of a third step – students are considered for HC/WISE, then HC/WISE recommends a small number of students (typically 25-30 out of the pool of 1000 or so) to the med school. Then the med school contacts students directly who they want to bring in for an interview.
