My DD is taking Dr. Nolan’s Honors Ideology and Cinema class this semester. They told the students yesterday and she called me and was very upset. She loved his class and said that it was very obvious that he loved teaching at Alabama. My prayers go out to his wife and very young son.

This is so sad. I was actually just looking for him on MyBama to see if he was teaching Ideology and Cinema…thought it would be a course my son would enjoy. So young…prayers go out to his family and those who knew him.

My son enjoyed his Idealogy and Cinema class and remarked on Dr. Nolan being a passionate and outstanding teacher. What a great loss for UA. Will keep him and his family in prayer.

What a tragic loss. My prayers go to his family and students.

At the end of the article it said:

“Dr. Jacqueline Morgan, associate dean of the Honors College, invites former students and friends to email her with stories and memories of Nolan. The messages will be put together and given to Nolan’s wife and son to remember him by.”

What a tragic loss. Prayers for his wife and child. Horrible accident.

I read this yesterday and was so sad. That newborn baby lost his father to such a tragic accident. I am praying for both his wife and child.

I heard about this last week and was very sad to hear the news. I enjoyed working with him and hope that his family will triumph over this tragedy.
