Honors College/Scholarships Chances + Advice?

Hello all! I’m currently a senior and high school and I’m extremely interested in UCF’s BHC as a CS major and wanted to know my chances and any advice to give me the best chance of acceptance before I turn in my app. I’m also curious about my chances of regular scholarships at UCF based off my stats and what I would most likely receive. I’m aware that my SAT score is very low for the honors college but was hoping other aspects of my application such as extracurriculars and creative work (photography) which I will include would help boost my chances. Any input is greatly appreciated.

For those that already turned in their application, did you send kk your materials folded in a plain envelope or one of those big ones that the application came in?

No advice with your application but looks like you have strong stats. Good luck to you. My daughter is working on her application. When she mails it in we’ll definitely use a big envelope like the application came in.

We’re waiting to hear on merit aid as well. She just got her acceptance this week and when we visited they said that typically merit aid is given about 3 weeks after acceptance.

We sent D honors college application in a large envelope so nothing was folded. OP- I think it looks like you have a good shot at BHC and I would guess some merit scholarship from UCF.

Another poster in a different thread indicted that they were told this year scholarships would not go out until December. hoping we hear sooner than than, but not sure if we will. It is getting more competitive to get into UCF so I wonder if they are holding off on scholarships to get more applications in the door to have more to base scholarship award decisions on.
