Honors College?

has anyone been given any info? I got accepted to the honors college at another SUNY, but i was wondering if Bing released that info yet. I realize i am not guaranteed admission into it just because of the other SUNY, but i was wondering if anyone knew anything...

i have the same question too!

I called admissions and they said they will send out information about it in mid april

Do they send it to everyone or just to “qualified” people? And if the latter, what is qualified?

Did anyone get notified that they are in the scholars program?

The honors program within Harpur is chosen based on SAT scores and your grades. I believe about only 50-100 students within Harpur are chosen to be scholars. You will be notified by Admissions if you are chosen.

I thought I heard them say that they choose honors after they see who accepted, and its the top 125 students

at least in the past, they notified those chosen for scholars program in time for them to take that into consideration in making their decision as to whether or not to choose binghamton. i have no idea what they might be doing this year.

I was talking to one of the admissions counselors yesterday and I believe they have already notified the small group of students who have made it into the scholars program. Don’t be discouraged if you are not one of these students as almost all the departments on campus have honors programs that you can be involved with.
