I was looking through the College of Letters and Science GE Requirements, and I noticed some classes listed under "Honors Collegium." Are these classes/seminars only limited to students participating in the honors program?

hmm here are some examples of Honors Collegium courses/seminars...

Slavery and Freedom in Greco-Roman Antiquity

Thinking about Rights

Feminism Around the World: Past and Present

Representing Cleopatra: History, Drama, and Film

Fantastic Voyage: From Homer to 2001

A Thousand Words: Literature of Renaissance Art
...and more

Sounds cool, yeah? I would LOVE to take a few of these courses...but not sure if i can since i'm a regular ol' Jane, not special enough for the Honors Program at UCLA =)

I guess my question will be answered at Orientation

I believe you are allowed to take those (not 100% sure), but preference is given to honors students when registering, and I believe you don't earn honors credit for the class if you aren't in the honors program (but you still get class unit credit).
