Can anyone speak about the Honors Forum? How active and interesting is it?

i'm not in the honors forum, but i can say that they recently hosted a fun and cheap trip into nyc to see avenue q. it was awesome :)

I got into this today. I'm not sure exactly what it is?

it's basically like an honors college...
from the website: "The Forum student must complete at least three honors courses or seven course credits during the first three years of study, complete the citizenship requirement by the end of the junior year, and an approved capstone project during the senior year."

A package came today on the honors forum. Aside from the course requirements, is this basically student run, so it is only as active as the students make it?

got this today too. does it make a big difference?

got it also. . .

jelomom, i'm pretty sure there are faculty advisors/leaders, but the students do have a large responsibility in participating; taking honors classes, recommending and planning and attending events/speakers, completing special honors projects, etc. the website says "Student involvement in the Honors Forum is essential to the success of the Forum" implying that it's as active as the students make it. i can't say how active that is, as i'm not in it, though.
