Hey,
so im really interested in going to OSU and i was recently accepted into their honors college as well. I emailed the university a few tiems asking questions but i really wanted to ge feedback from students or people with experience at OSU for advice. I was really unsure about where to live next year because i heard nice things about Bradley, Lincoln and a few others. I wanted to be near mostly freshman and i really want to know where the good social scene is at for freshman. I know Sotuh Campus is where freshman mostly go but does anyone have any advice as to where is the best dorms on South Campus?!?!?!?

PLEASE RESOND!!!

Bradley is a good pick for South Campus, I had a lot of friends live there who liked it. It also connects underground to a cafeteria, which must be excellent when there is bad weather.

If social scene is what you're after stick to South. I like Lincoln a lot, but it is further away from the party scene near High Street. There are plenty of threads around already about dorming with more specific recomendations, go back in the archives a bit if you're that worried. Relax! Honestly, you can't go wrong with whatever you pick.

What are the Honors dorms like?

when i visited bradley it seemed more cramped and older than the freshman 4 towers and it seemed quieter. The people who led the tours were quite friendly though!

i’m a vegetarian. how are the honor’s kitchens?

Taylor’s got a kitchen in the basement; decent sized

Lincoln’s kitchen is rather closet-like, alas!

Bradley’s kitchen is very convenient, and Siebert’s kitchen I have never seen.

There are a number of vegetarian-friendly options through the Meal Swipe plan and Campus Dining Services, by the by.

i lived in patterson hall on the pharmacy scholars floor (patterson is directly connected to bradley). i had a great time and the vast majority of people were very fun and friendly. i would recommend it.

I was a vegetarian when I was living in the dorms. There are plenty of options - it got a little monotonous at times, but I think all dorm food does. You can look at the menus online at OSU dining and they mark what is vegetarian and what isn’t. There is a vegetarian-specific cafeteria/food bar in Kennedy commons.
