I'll be starting at FSU this summer. I've been invited to the honors program, and I'm applying for the Honors Medical Scholar program. I know it's competitive, but I was just wondering if anyone knows exactly how competitive it is? Do test scores and GPA play a role in acceptance, or is it purely based on your application and recommendations? I'd just like to have an idea of what my chances are.

Very competitive - but apply and see if you are accepted. Here is what your possible future peer group does with their spare time: [Honors Medical Scholars - Honors Medical Scholars Society - FSU College of Medicine](http://med.fsu.edu/index.cfm?page=honorsMedicalScholars.honorsMedicalScholarsSociety)

Was in invited back for an interview for the Medical Scholars Program this week. Can anyone tell me what the interview is like? How many they are choosing this year? How long does it take to hear back? Thanks much
