Honors Online Scholarship Application and others

I’m in the middle of writing essays for my HOSA and was wondering what they are generally looking for in them? Any other insight into the HOSA process?

Also, are there other scholarships from OSU aside from these? Any merit based on only test scores and gpa like some other schools?

Any other insight into the scholarship process at OSU is appreciated.

I finished my HOSA a few weeks ago. There are merit scholarships but they’re competitive, OSU is stingy about scholarship money (I’ve had a lot of older friends go there) you can go to Scholarships There’s the maximus, provost, and trustess merit scholarships.

I disagree with your comment. OSU is extremely generous with merit money. My DS lives in an honors dorm and he says most students have some form of merit money. If you come from out of state OSU is especially generous since they are trying to increase their OOS enrollment. Plus they let you combine certain scholarships to equal a full ride. Out of the 10 schools my DS got into OSU was the most generous. Also be sure to look at departmental awards to see if there are any for your particular major.
