Honors Program: Anyone trying out or in it? I have questions

The honors FSPs have an “H” in their code…for example Irish Cinema is 104-H1…it does not actually say in the catalog that they are honors but if they have an H then they are honors…also below is a link to a page that has the complete honors list and some additional info(if the link doesn’t work go to the tcnj home page click undergraduate students and under admitted students choose First Year Experience, there should be a link to the FSPs)…apparently some majors are advised to take certain FSPs… being a science major I am advised not to take a course I was really interested in :frowning: I think it would have been a little more helpful if we received our honors letters before the letter telling us to choose our FSPs it took me a few minutes to figure it out. Good luck!

Thank you so much. We have been unable to find this previously! Good luck!

If you’re in the honors program make sure you check your tcnj email account. There should be a message with specific instructions for choosing your fsp!

do you think that a person could apply for the honors program and be accepted their sophomore year?

Found this on their site:

Other students (including those who were not accepted before classes began or who did not apply) join the Program at various points in their college careers. Applicants can pick up application materials in the Honors Program Office in Green Hall 109. To apply, current students must have a GPA of at least 3.5 with at least 16 credits earned at TCNJ.

So yeah, I’m pretty sure you can.
