<p>Does anyone have any information on the Honors Program at Michigan?</p>
<p>Do they indicate when you're accepted that you should apply, or does that come later. My college counselor told me to expect to be asked to apply there, but it wasn't mentioned in the acceptance email. </p>

<p>They will ask you to apply shortly after you receive your acceptance (I received an e-mail about five days afterward), though not everyone is asked. However, if you aren’t asked to apply, you can still feel free to do so. You’ll get a decision sometime in April most likely, so it will be before the enrollment deadline. </p>
<p>I’m currently in the honors program, so I can answer some more questions if you have them. “Any information” is quite a broad range and I’d be typing for a while if I were to tell you all that I know. :)</p>

<p>There are a number of threads on the honors program on this board. If you search for it you will find a lot of useful information.</p>
<p>To be honest I think I submitted my application only a few hours before the deadline, so sometime in late March. I heard back about three weeks later. The deadline for application and the deadline for receiving a decision are typically about three weeks apart.</p>
