Can you double major in the honors program?
If you get straight A's in an honors and straight A's in the regular do you rank the same?

Yes and Yes.

Is it worth it then?

It encourages you to double major and get involved on campus, so yes. You also get to register early for classes. Are you going to the Honors Open House on April 13th?

Er…you don’t major in the “honors” program. You can “complete” the honors program (while pursuing a double major, masters, whatever…) by earning honor points.

Note that “graduating with honors” has nothing to do with the honors program, though it is one requirement for completing the program.

Also UF doesn’t weight “Honor” classes, like the do in High School. An A in honors Calc 1 is worth 4.0 points, as it is in the regular Calc 1 class. There also is no “rankings” as you know it at UF. You do “graduate with honors”, based on your GPA and Major.
