I was recently admitted into the honors program and am struggling to make a decision on whether or not I should accept. My first question is about the course requirements. I know online it explains the Gen Ed requirements for a certain program, but it also states that these are required courses to take with the honors classes. Can I still use the credit for them from my high school AP classes? Or do I have to take the classes under the honors. Also, under the honors program are all classes one takes honors classes or are they both honors and regular? For the research required, does one research project have to be completed per year or is there only one required for the whole time studying at OSU and if so, can you pick which year to start your research? I have been accepted into the Health and Rehab Sciences honors program, does that mean I have to apply to a more specific major later in the year? My last concern is the difficulty of the curriculum. I know it is difficult but is it manageable? During high school I have always challenged myself and taken classes where I have spent hours studying and working but college school work is already much more difficult than high school is. I’m not sure if I would be able to maintain a decent GPA with the courses. I would really appreciate if a current student could describe their experiences and their recommendations. Thank you so much for your time!
