Does anyone know where I can find a map of the Honors residence. I want to c where my
room is located.

Try asking on housing facebook page about what happened to them…I can’t find them anywhere. Looks like they took down the complete floorplans. They use to be on housing sites.

Thanks, I thought they were there also and I could not find them.

How did you find out what room you are assigned to?

If you log into the honors facebook page someone posted a link that takes you there.
He also posted it on the regular USC facebook page you click into the MYUSC link
then click on Housing you must then log into my Vip then put in columbia campus
it should show where your housing is after you press continue. You have to enter the
site through the link or it does not work. good Luck

I need that floor plan too! please post if you find it!

IS there anyone on here that has lived in the Honors dorm? I was looking at the floor plan and it looks like there are a lot of rooms that are 150-170K sq ft - are these singles? If so, there are more singles than I thought. Also - what is in the other two wings of the 6th floor that doesn’t have rooms? My dd is on the 6th floor.

Ahsmuoh, from the housing link picture it looks like the other wings only have five stories.

Thank you aristrutz!

^^You are right about 6th floor not have as many wings. D lived in honors dorm as freshman. As far as size, there are a lot of single suites. The are also some large singles and small doubles. I think you still get email links for roommates and suitemates so you can kind of figure out what you got (and of course by looking at bill). It has happened in past the some students have gotten singles when requested doubles.

I’m on the 6th floor my room 121 square ft. and it is a single.

Did you want a single karabear?

No, I have a really great roommate and a single is $1,100 more a semester.

I heard that many people ended up with single connecting rooms instead of doubles - I didn’t realize they cost more In the end - you may be glad you have a single - my dd got a double like she requested. She is excited about being on the top floor for some reason. She is already “meeting” people on her floor through the facebook group - different then when I went to school - :)
