<p>My daughter is starting her freshman year, is in honors, and is not a partier. She was assigned to Mayflower. Are most of the honors students in Daum? And do opportunities exist for the honors students who are not in Daum to interact with and socialize with the other honors students?</p>
<p>BeckyA, Mayflower has no real honors affiliation, so whatever contact she has there will be through her LLC of choice, which may frankly be none at all.</p>
<p>Four years ago when my son was in honors the MO was very much that honors was what you make it, that the opportunities were available but not foisted upon students. You could be in the program and actually do nothing. I don’t know if that’s changed but my guess is that it’s still largely up to the student. There’s a fairly comprehensive honors program website which details opportunities.</p>
