Honors students, what was your experience?

Just as the title states. I’d especially like to hear about the honors at CBS!
Also, any info on Middlebrook would be great.
Thankies

Also curious^! And another question: it says Laundry Included under Middlebrook’s amenities…does that mean free, or just that Middlebrook has machines?

@kk1235 I was wondering this too!

Middlebrook has about 15 washing machines and dryers that are free to residents. There’s usually a wait and people will move your stuff if you aren’t there right when it is done but they are free.

Overall, Middlebrook is decent. It is fairly quiet and doesn’t really have parties. There is a floor that is mostly honours students so you will be with other people like you. The dining hall is decent but not great. It’s about 5 minutes from the light rail which is nice, and it’s about 10 minutes from the blue line so you can go strait to that instead of going downtown to transfer trains.

Being in honours can get you into some better classes with better professors. If you are accepted into honours, I’d suggest starting in it at the very least. Depending on your major, you might hit a point where you have to go out of your way to take classes that will count towards honours. You can always drop later, so I’d at least start in it.
