Name the hooks that got you in.....

4.0 gpa and 33 ACT...you don't really need anything more than that

lol.......yeah...we don't really do "hooks" here...not that saving the world hurts...it just isn't a huge part of admissions at UM.

Go look at the thread on people who got admitted to Preferred Admission to Ross....thats where the hooks are at...lol

1) In state
2) Max # of points possible for legacy (Dad, mom, aunt, grandma)
3) Dual enrolled for 14 credits at umich senior year and did well
4) I'm frickin sweet

Well...everything I don't deserve but got anyway.

1.) from a very underrepresented state
2.) legacy (dad-school and taught post-grad there)
3.) girl who's done something in math (do they look at this?)

Yup, forever guilty.

Wow, I was pretty nervous about admissions at first since I had no real hook, not many EC's, only a 3.966, out of state, not a legacy, and only a 30 on the ACT. I just took lots of college courses. I completed 25 credits at a local private college. Maybe being the first member of my family going to college helped as well. I guess I shouldn't have stressed so much since I got in anyway.
