Hopefully I'll get some feedback this time...:)

Female/White from a competitive and reputable public school in Ohio

SAT: 2120 - 630 math, 730 reading, 760 writing (RETAKING OCT. 9, hoping for a 2250+)
ACT: 29 composite [probably will NOT submit this score, i realize it's low for VU]
AP exams: 4 on English Lang/composition
Rank: top 10%

senior year schedule:
AP English, AP Government, AP Spanish, Analysis, Environmental Science, Mentoring & School Leadership
(will have taken 4 AP courses by graduation, also took "pre-AP" English my sophomore year. and the mentoring program is something you apply to at my school and must be accepted by the principal to be a part of - i tutor students outside of school basically)

ECs
National Honor Society - Vice President and member for 2 years
Spanish Club - 4 years
Spanish Honor Society
Debate Club - 2 years
softball - 2 years (team captain freshmen year)
part-time job
Varsity letter for academics, have been recognized all four years for academic achievements
School Newspaper - served as editor my junior year, submitted pieces to a statewide competition and won two awards: one for an outstanding editorial and one for outstanding layout design. had to drop it senior year to take AP Spanish :(

*also was published in my town's newspaper

I also have my own blog where I post essays and short stories that I write, spent a lot of my summer developing it.

I have logged 50 hours of community service, including a volunteer position at my town's museum for one summer - i was a docent and gave tours.

I've been working diligently on my essays and they're shaping up pretty well, the final product should be impressive. Also, I plan to explain my lack of leadership positions in my school ECs (plan to emphasize my blog, my tutoring, my part-time job, my courseload, etc.)

PLEASE help me out for: UNC-CH, Duke, University of Michigan, Vanderbilt ED1
(out of state for all schools...yikes)

Thank you!! If I left anything out let me know

haha thanks!! i chanced you back  any other opinions out there???

i’d have to agree with the previous poster. I don’t know much about Duke though. You’re SAT is solid, you GPA is incredible. So Vanderbilt should be a match. Chance me back? My topic is “What Chance do I Have”

thanks for your feedback  i chanced ya back.

just another Q for future posters: since the feedback i’ve gotten says i would have a decent shot at Vandy but not a good chance at UNC… is OOS UNC harder than Vandy? obviously ik UNC is crazy for out of staters but I figured OOS UNC would be on par with acceptance to Vandy.

anywho, anyone else wanna chance me? please and thank you :)
