Founded/am CEO of an international nonprofit that is active in 21 states and 8 countries; we have high school students who tutor local students; I then use this money to finance micro loans to people in developing countries (through Kiva.org, a micro loaning NGO) for education related ventures. We have been active for 3 months and have funded 9 education and the construction of a water filtration system for a school in Uganda (included this just to show that we’re actually doing stuff).
My biggest concern is that it looks like for first semester junior year I might have 1-2 B’s, possibly in French 3 and in AP US History; these classes at my school are ridiculously difficult. Will this ruin my chances, or will a couple B’s be ok? (sorry for puns) Thanks!
