I normally don't get mad about things, but my experience I had with the ACT today really made me upset. I am a senior so this is the last time I can take the ACT. I have taken the ACT two other times and taken practice test 4 times, not to say I practiced a ton on my own. I got decent grades on my other two tests, but I was really feeling good about this test (I was mainly going to work on my reading grade, which was lower than all my other subject grades).

The test started off okay, I thought I did great on my Math and English sections. During the ACT there is a break after the math section right before the reading and since my class had started early we were the first to start the break and the first to end it. For the first, at least, 15 minuets of my reading test (out of 35 minuets) there was a ton of talking out in the hallway, and it was extremely hard to focus on what I was reading. I could tell lots of other kids in my room were bothered by it too. My proctor went out once to tell them to be quiet but but they didn't listen and continued talking and my proctor just went back to her desk and didn't do anything about the situation. And then one guy came in late and said, "Oh F#$K im screwed!" (not that, that really bothered me, I was just really upset by that time since it was already hard to concentrate on my work). Also, I don't know if its a big deal or not, but the proctor didn't check id's, which they are suppose to do (I didn't really mind it, but its just something else I can add to my argument).

The whole situation really makes me mad because I thought I did really well on the first two sections (english and math), I did horrible on the reading, and since I was freaking out I don't think I did my best on the science or writing portions either. Any ideas of who I can contact, or if it will really be worth doing anything about it.

Thank you!
