I recently decided to apply to Hotchkiss, and when I tried to sign up for a virtual interview, the website indicated that there were no spots available (until Jan 22).
Will more spots, eventually, open up? What should I do?

you should sign up for an interview even at that date. if another spot opens up, then you can consider switching the date.

DD had an interview at last minute and was admitted. Not hotchkiss but an equivalent of it. I’d say January 22, even days before deadline, won’t affect your application.
Hello, I have a similar problem but worse-there aren’t any interview spots at all left on their website, same with Choate. What should I do? I know that with Andover they’ll put you in touch with an alumni, do these schools have something similar?
I was interviewed by an alumnus when I applied to Choate. I believe that should be an option!
If you don’t mind me asking, is this something they’ll send me a link to when I submit Gateway P1? Or can I find it on their website?
Never mind, as soon as I emailed the Choate AO asking about more interview spots they opened up a tonne more

Also emailed Hotchkiss, so if anyone else can’t find interview spots, can confirm they’re all out.
From the email:
**We have surpassed our capacity for virtual interviews, thus our online booking tool will not show availability unless there has been a cancellation. However, the interview is optional and not a requirement to complete your application file.
I checked the website a few hours ago, and they had a canceled/opened spot, so I was able to book an interview. I would recommend that you keep checking the website to see if there are any additional spots.
