Hotel

My dad is coming to visit me for a week and I was wondering what hotels around campus are good for the price. I obviously checked the Radisson but they are real expensive (~$200+/night) so that was a no go. Any suggestions or advice appreciated.

Thanks

If you don't get much response here, do an advanced search. I know this topic has come up before, especially during orientation and parents' weekend.

if you live in a dorm, i know some will allow family to stay in max of 3 days. this is depends if your room mate agrees.

The Omni Hotel is said to have a USC rate, under $150 or so, and it's a very nice hotel. There's a Holiday Inn nearby (Figueroa Street?) that can have decent rates, depending on what's going on in the area. If he doesn't mind Priceline, he can probably get the Westin Bonaventure for under $100. Check biddingfortravel.com for tips on how to bid for that.

There is a nice B & B near USC that he might like. It's called The Inn at 657. You can find it on google or try this:

The Vagabond a block north on Figueroa is OK and a lot cheaper than the Radisson.
