<p>Well, it was well-located in the sense of being right across the street from Carnegie Hall where the event will be. That neighborhood is definitely better than some others in Manhattan.</p>

<p>In NYU neighborhood , Union Square Inn --and one ride up to see Columbia . Great price with a free continental in their coffeeshop.</p>

<p>EasyDoesItMom...I want to thank you for mentioning Union Square Inn as I have never heard of it and have not had it come up in searches I have done in the past. Being the parent of an NYU student who happens to live by Union Square, and who has had difficulty finding lodging close to campus, let alone that is cheap, you have helped me and I have made a note of it for the future!
