For all those who have visited or go to Emory, could you please post where you have stayed and an evaluation of the hotel (accommodations, parking, distance to campus etc)?

We stayed at the Holiday Inn Express (Emory University Area) last October. Nothing fancy, but perfectly fine. No restaurant/ typical HIE free breakfast. It’s a mile or so down the road from Emory (literally – turn left out of the parking lot, drive down the road, Emory’s on the right), which was good for us (didn’t want to deal with Atlanta morning rush hour traffic). Saw a million teens with parents, so I think it’s a popular choice.
You might also check out the Emory Conference Center, about a mile from campus near the CDC. @higheredrocks is right about Atlanta rush hour traffic; it’s not for the faint of heart. If you have an extra hour on campus, the Carlos Museum has an impressive ancient Egyptian, Greek, & Roman collection.
