Hours Of Study For AP Biology, AP World History and AP Human Geography During Summer

Hi so I’m currently going into 9th grade next year, and have decided to take AP Biology, World History, and Human Geography. Currently I’ve been studying 5hrs for AP Bio and 3hrs for World History per day (1hr and below for Human Geo). Is that enough, or is that too much??? As the days of summer start to dwindle, I’m starting to anxious that my prep is not nearly enough. Anyone thoughts?!??!

Unless there was a summer packet that needs to be completed before the start of classes, my hours spent over the summer were zero. I had better things to do and did not want to start the year burnt out. But every student has different priorities.

You will not be doing the exam for 10 more months. I see zero point to studying over the summer, except as ski said above. My kid took 8 AP tests and got almost all 5s. She did no studying in the summer. Colleges will be unimpressed if your summer activity is “studying.” Go out and do something fun and interesting.
