cool! thanks for that website, xxInkxx

Thanks for the dorm link ink!

btw, if you guys are in the fb group there's a roommate board you can post to and possibly find someone to room with.

hey guys

i have never visited the campus and have NO CLUE about housing so I guess i'm gnna need some help. when do we have to tell them our choices by? i live in dubai so its bit of a mission to get there but i think i will go in april. is that too late? and also whats the facebook group called ?

Chocolate--Northwestern has a specific Orientation week during the summer where you could go visit then. If I'm not mistaken, we don't list out dorm preferences until the fall. That could save you a trip..
and the group is called Northwestern University Class of 2013!
The roommate thread is called Roommate Finder+Template

i have been told we make dorm preferences in may, when we sent in housing application, and they tell us in august which dorms we are in.

which would unfortunately be before the orientation week :(
chocolate- what is your major? a good starting place would be knowing if your on north or south campus, and also if you want a big hall or a small residential college

ep1th3t, i think you may be refeering to the weekend in april for admmitted students to visit nu and help them decide if it is indeed where they want to go before they have to make the first deposit. The orientation week is the week before school starts, you start living in your dorm the first day. They send you a thing in the summer, i think in like early june, and you have to list your top 5 dorm choices, then they tell u ur dorm and room mate in august.

to incoming freshmen: i want to emphasize that it does not matter what your major is and its relation to where you live. North may be math/science and South is arts/humanities but where you live will make or break your Northwestern experience. All the dorms have their own personalities and I would strongly suggest that you don't care about the walk from North-South campus because its 15 min tops. all my classes are at the opposite end of the campus but it doesn't matter because i wouldn't choose to live anywhere else but where I live now.

oh and one last thing, LIVE IN BOBB.

hey guys thanks a lot :) yea i think i'm gnna go to the orientation week in april. i barely even know the difference between north and south campus so yea i'm gnna go. thanks :)
