Does OSU guarantee housing after freshman year?
My daughter will be applying very soon. OSU is her first choice.

As far as I know: OSU does not "guarantee" in so many words, but I have not heard nor could conceive of someone not getting housing (due to the popularity of living off campus) unless some ridiculous number of students wants to live on-campus in the future. Students living in dorms after their first year even get some extra perks (like first choice of rooms, essentially.)

In the next few years (after more dorms are built, not sure when) OSU is going to require that students stay on campus through Sophomore year.

I think the remodeling of Lincoln to allow for more dorms is supposed to be done in 2010.

Thanks for the info!

I heard that they are starting the Lincoln project this fall.

I agree with Kelseyg - any upper classman who wants to live on campus should have no problem getting housing, even before the additional dorm space is created.
