<p>Does anybody know about freshman housing at OSU? Is it in high rises? Is there a housing shortage on campus? Thanks.</p>
<p>I don't think there are shortages, but there are definitely high rises all over the place.</p>
<p>There is no housing shortage at OSU that I'm aware of-
Yes, there are "high rises", but you have your close floor community as well as the bigger opportunities offered by your residence hall. Floors have individual programs, and halls have other programming. For example, my floor went ice skating at the campus rink for free, and my hall is currently planning a trip to Washington DC for Memorial Day weekend. As my orientation leader told me, "You can make a big school smaller, but you can't make a small school bigger."</p>
