<p>when do I apply for the housing and when do I get the decision ? I applied the SBU next spring as transfer student , I don't know if I should apply the housing before I got accepted or after ?

<p>When you are admitted you are given a choice to send in only a tuition deposit if you plan to commute, or to send in a tuition/housing deposit if you plan to live on campus. You will also receive instructions about logging in to SOLAR to provide your new student preferences, including housing preferences. This is how you request housing. You can’t do anything before getting admitted.</p>
