<p>I applied to Fordham without housing, but now I want housing and I put myself on the waitlist. Is the waitlist dependable? I mean, what's the probability of getting housing on the waitlist? Oh, and when I visited I saw some off campus apartments right next to the school so I wanted to ask if they're affiliated with Fordham and can you pay for the with finAid and still get a meal plan and stuff? Please, any answer would help because if I don't get housing, I can't go to Fordham (RH)</p>
<p>You should call Res. Life and get their input. My S was a freshman last year. The person he knew on the wait list (high up on the list) was able to get into dorms for the start of the second semester. But, I’m sure things change year to year. Also I doubt that you can pay for apts. with aid (again, you should ask) but I think anyone can be on the meal plan. If you have an apartment with a kitchen, then get you can probobly get a small commuter meal plan if you want lunch or something on campus.</p>
