Forgive me if this is posted elsewhere in the forum but I have a quick question about the housing application. I was just accepted on Monday and have heard that it's essential that you apply for housing immediately to get your priority number. I'm 99% sure going to USC but am not enrolling yet until after my ExploreUSC session in early April. Can I still apply for housing right now without enrolling first so I can get a good priority number? Thanks in advance and sorry if this is posted somewhere else. Fight on!

Yes, you can still apply for housing before enrolling. The housing application fee will not be refunded to you though if you choose to go to a different school.

Yes, submit your application with the $30 fee which would be non-refundable if you decide to go elsewhere.

Yes, you can apply before enrolling. Submit your application and $30 non-refundable deposit as soon as possible. You can make random choices right now and then change them as you research where you want to live. The changes can be made right up until the end of April. When they start making housing assignments in May, they do it in the order the applications came in.

Thank you all for your prompt responses. I'm about 99.9% sure I'll be a Trojan next year but wanted to wait until my ExploreUSC to finalize. Can't wait! Good luck to all still waiting to hear.

One last follow up question - I sent in my housing app today, when will we learn of our assignments? I have yet to enroll but will most likely do it after my April 7th ExploreUSC session.
