Should I submit a housing application ASAP? Will they run out of spacing or would I not be able to get the housing I want? which is Unit 1? (I am regents btw, not sure if that gives me priority for which housing). I want to wait until it’s almost May 1st before I submit an SIR. I’m still trying to decide where to go and I’m not entire set on Berkeley yet (but I am almost sure I will be attending Berkeley).
It’s by a lottery system, so everyone who submits it before the deadline has an equal chance. Oh, and Regents don’t officially have priority, but seem to somehow get their dorm preferences most of the time, at least from what I’ve heard:) Housing is guaranteed to Regents for all 4 years, if desired, which is really nice.
