Housing Assignments posted about 10 minutes ago! My daughter is in Hanks…NW
I had friends who lived in Hanks, specifically. It is a pretty nice dorm and North West has a nice but busy dining hall.
Lots of freshmen as well as sophomores in NW.
For several reasons we wanted NW. Seems my daughter is on an all female floor, which is fine and we have heard NW has the best dining hall…she will have many science classes and needs to get to the farm…so not a bad location. I saw pics on a blog and seems closets have no doors…may call Reslife to see dimensions of closet so I can buy curtains and a tension rod.
@TLD1267 I’m curious as to why you’re interested in mounting curtains for the closet. I’ve never seen anyone do that at UConn.
We saw pics of it on http://uconnthings.■■■■■■■■■■/dorms. It just looks nice & neat…if you are a slob like my daughter…it will hide the mess.
@TLD1267 I wouldn’t bother with the curtains for the closet. I have NEVER seen anyone with a curtained closet at UConn. The closets are too small to really get messy and this way your daughter will be “forced” to maintain some organization.
